Our client is a public corporation located at Science Park looking for an Acceleration Officer to join their team


Responsibilities

  • Conduct the qualitative and quantitative analysis of investment opportunities under senior professionals’ guidance
  • Partner with the Programme team to develop initiatives that nurture the Programmes’ companies and make them successful
  • Work closely with stakeholders and provide ongoing support and monitoring to ensure the effectiveness and success of the Programme
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders for the whole process, from the application, admission, and reimbursement of subsidies
  • Collect and ensure the completeness and accuracy of documents submitted
  • Invite and arrange applicants, and internal and external stakeholders for due diligence meetings, admission and assessment meetings etc
  • Produce and maintain a database of the Programme, such as minutes, statistics, and reports on a regular basis

Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Communication, Public Administration, Marketing or equivalent
  • 1-2 year of working experience preferably gained investment bank, financial advisory firm or buy-side investment firm.
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels in spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Candidates with experience in venture capital would be an advantage. 
  • A strong team player, willing to learn, detailed-minded and results-driven, ability to multi-task and achieve tight timelines.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese word processing.
