Responsibilities

FATCA and CRS Compliance: Develop, implement, and maintain procedures to ensure compliance with FATCA and CRS regulations, including identifying reportable accounts, reporting to tax authorities, and withholding taxes as required.

Risk Assessment and Due Diligence: Conduct risk assessments and due diligence on customers, accounts, and transactions to identify potential FATCA and CRS compliance risks.

Customer Onboarding and Ongoing Monitoring: Develop and implement procedures for customer onboarding and ongoing monitoring to ensure compliance with FATCA and CRS regulations.

Reporting and Filing: Prepare and submit reports to tax authorities, including the IRS and other relevant authorities, in accordance with FATCA and CRS regulations.

Policy and Procedure Development: Develop, review, and update policies and procedures to ensure compliance with FATCA and CRS regula


Experience

Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, or other relevant disciplines. 2-3 years of experience in FATCA and CRS compliance, with a strong understanding of the regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate compliance risks, and to develop and implement effective compliance procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with compliance software and systems, such as tax reporting platforms and customer onboarding systems.
