Head of Sourcing - Hardgoods

• Responsible for the short-term and long-term planning and day to day operations of the Global Business Development Department of the company
• Establish strategic connections with senior/new customers and build strong relationships
• Direct and manage all clients' sourcing initiatives and activities
• Continuously build, maintain and strengthen good client relationships as well as internal teams
• Mentor and develop direct reporting employees for both their training and career growth
• Monitor and report on clients' activities and issues and provide relevant reports to senior management

• Minimum of 15 years' experience with at least 7 years managing teams in merchandising, sourcing and product development
• Strong understanding of multiple products including household, furniture, indoor, outdoor, kitchen accessories, bathroom, lighting etc.
• Hands-on experience in sourcing industry throughout US and Asia market
• In-depth knowledge of sourcing, merchandising, product development procedures and processes
• Solid knowledge in quality assurance
• Excellent negotiation and leadership skills

• University Degree educated, preferably with a focus in business, merchandising or related industry
