System Analyst (Java & DevOps)

Our client is a prominent player in the consumer finance sector, specializing in credit management, operations, and marketing to deliver accessible financial solutions. 

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Work with business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with other developers to ensure code quality and consistency.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in Kubernetes/OpenShift, DevOps, and digital transformation.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, business stakeholders, and other team members to ensure that software development projects are completed on time and within budget.

• Over three years of experience in Java and Spring Boot programming.
• Solid grasp of software development methodologies and industry best practices.
• Familiarity with tools such as Git, JIRA, and others used in development.
• Knowledge of relational databases and proficiency in SQL.
• Previous experience in a financial services organization or similar setting is advantageous.
• Strong skills in communication and teamwork.
• Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
