Infrastructure Specialist

Our client is a privately owned conglomerate focused primarily on property development in Greater China. In addition to real estate, the group is involved in shipping, textiles, and financial services. It ranks among the top property developers and is one of the largest privately owned firms in Hong Kong.

• Supervise the management and upkeep of the IT network infrastructure.
• Ensure peak performance of the IT network through effective configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to design and execute IT infrastructure solutions that meet business needs.
• Create and enforce IT infrastructure policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain compliance and enhance efficiency.
• Assess and document IT processes, conduct User Acceptance Testing, and report on project developments and challenges.
• Manage procurement activities related to the IT network, including vendor assessment, contract negotiations, and sourcing.
• Oversee the tendering processes for IT infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with procurement standards and evaluating vendor proposals.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry developments, offering insights for network enhancement.

• Over 5 years of IT networking experience.
• Proficient in CISCO, Aruba, Ruckus, FortiNet, Palo Alto, VMware, Microsoft AD, and Azure AD.
• Familiar with AWS, Azure, and OCI Cloud services.
• Experience managing vendor relationships for network projects.
• Knowledge of procurement, vendor selection, and contract negotiation.
• Understands tender processes and vendor proposal analysis.
• Extensive experience in large network management, including BCP and DR.
• Advantageous experience in network deployment for complex facilities.
• Strong team player with analytical and problem-solving skills; self-motivated and adaptable.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
