Data Operations Engineer

Our client is a Hong Kong's central banking institution, they are looking for a Data Operations Engineer with solid experience in data warehouse and ETL tool to join their team.

• Understand and analyze business needs, collect business users' requirement
• Participate in functional, technical and design discussion with stakeholders to ensure best practices during implementation 
• Conduct feasibly studies, and propose applicable solutions
• Translate requirements into functional solutions
• Collaborate with IT teams to productionise the solution from development environment
• Ongoing performance optimization for the data pipeline
• Sound knowledge of web scrapping, data pipeline and data visualization
• Leveraging Agile methodologies, continuous integration, and automated releases. 
• Proficiency in data governance, data wrangling and analytics in Python, along with experience in machine learning and entity resolution would be an advantage
• Develop documentations for the deliverables

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
• Experience in data warehouse and ETL tool in Python, SQL, data orchestrator such as Airflow, ML Models Experience in Tableau and BI tools
• Knowledge of model development and deployment, ETL processes and data visualization
• Data driven thinking capabilities and problem solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
• Immediately available is preferred

• Bachelor degree in science, engineering or related fields
