Our client, an educational company, is now looking for a Senior Project Manager (School Construction) to join their professional team.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire construction and development project, from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Develop and manage project plans, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and procurement strategies
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of the project
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and implement effective solutions to keep the project on track
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting project updates, challenges, and achievements

Experience

  • Degree in Architectural, Structural Engineering or related disciplines with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience
  • Minimum 10 years and proven project management experience in overseeing large-scale development projects from inception to completion
  • Experience in educational projects is preferred
  • Knowledge of local government regulations, permits, and safety guidelines in the construction industry;
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices;
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills to effectively coordinate teams and engage with stakeholders
  • Good presentation skills, self-motivated, and a team player
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
