• Advise management and relevant stakeholders on various legal matters, including banking regulations, financial services laws, and digital banking regulations

• Ensure the bank's compliance with licensing requirements and regulatory obligations, including those related to banking, financial services, and digital payments

• Review, draft, and negotiate various agreements and contracts with partners, vendors, and clients to ensure the bank's interests are protected

• Identify and assess legal risks associated with the bank's operations, including those related to digital banking, cybersecurity, and data protection

• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate legal risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

• Develop and provide training programs for employees on legal and compliance matters, including banking regulations, data protection, and cybersecurity

• FATCA and CRS Compliance: Develop, implement, and maintain procedures to ensure compliance with FATCA and CRS regulations, including identifying reportable accounts, reporting to tax authorities, and withholding taxes as required.

• Risk Assessment and Due Diligence: Conduct risk assessments and due diligence on customers, accounts, and transactions to identify potential FATCA and CRS compliance risks.

• Customer Onboarding and Ongoing Monitoring: Develop and implement procedures for customer onboarding and ongoing monitoring to ensure compliance with FATCA and CRS regulations.

• Reporting and Filing: Prepare and submit reports to tax authorities, including the IRS and other relevant authorities, in accordance with FATCA and CRS regulations.

• Policy and Procedure Development: Develop, review, and update policies and procedures to ensure compliance with FATCA and CRS regula

• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts with merchants, partners, and vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Provide legal support for commercial transactions, including payment processing agreements, merchant agreements, and other business deals.

• Ensure the company's compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including those related to payment processing, data privacy, and consumer protection.

• Provide legal advice on corporate governance matters, including board meetings, shareholder agreements, and company secretarial duties.

• Protect the company's intellectual property rights, including trademarks, patents, and copyrights, and advise on IP-related matters.

• Oversee all legal matters within the company, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, suppliers, distributors and other third parties

• Provide legal advice and guidance to senior management on a wide range of issues, including intellectual property, regulatory compliance, litigation etc.
