Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the financial operations of APAC region, ensuring accurate financial statements and efficient accounting processes.

• Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.

• Manage and coordinate the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and report variances.

• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.

• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.

• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.

• Support month-end and year-end close process.

• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

• Identify cost savings opportunities and implement process improvements.


Experience

An accountant with 10+ years of solid accounting & finance experience, preferably with retail industry experience. Possess regional exposure. Knowledge in SAP. Past working experience in MNCs is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact with Business Units and external professionals. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. You are proactive, self-motivated, agile in learning, open-minded and up for challenges.
