Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports to management, including consolidated reports for the company and its conglomerate group
  • Compile and present financial data for stakeholders, including the preparation of consolidated financial statements and accompanying notes
  • Collaborate in the audit processes for financial statements and internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Develop financial forecasts to support strategic planning initiatives
  • Manage corporate income tax matters and oversee transfer pricing, including evaluating tax risks and formulating tax policies
  • Supervise daily accounting functions, ensuring adherence to compliance standards and accurate bookkeeping for designated general ledger accounts
  • Oversee the financial closing process for international branches, ensuring the consistency of trial balances.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by management

Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting or tax-focused roles
  • CPA certification or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred
  • Fluency in both written and spoken Korean is essential
  • Proficiency in English, Cantonese, or Chinese is advantageous
  • Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of fostering effective teamwork and collaboration
  • Familiarity with SAP software is preferred

Education

  • A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related discipline
