Chief Accountant / Senior Accountant

Our client is a prominent wholesale distributor of electronic components and communications equipment. They are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to provide oversight and leadership for their finance team.

• Manage the complete set of accounts, including month-end closures, financial statements, and management accounts
• Create management reports for companies in Hong Kong and the PRC
• Oversee budgeting, cash flow, credit control, financial analysis, and invoicing for both Hong Kong and the group of companies
• Prepare group consolidations, statutory accounts, and related schedules
• Perform other management accounting functions or ad hoc assignments as needed
• Ensure that accounting records and documentation comply with local statutory requirements and company accounting policies

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including 2-3 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a commercial setting; experience in manufacturing is a plus
• Auditing experience is advantageous
• Familiarity with PRC accounts and taxation matters is a significant advantage
• Willingness to travel to the PRC and internationally as required
• Experience in manufacturing is highly preferred

• Diploma in Accounting or a finalist in HKICPA or ACCA
