As a leader in the industry, we are expanding our reach and seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to focus on Hospital Authority and lead our team in developing new channels and market access strategies.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a results-driven and motivated Marketing lead to spearhead our efforts in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with Hospital Authority and expanding our market presence through new channels. You will be responsible for leading a team of high-performing sales professionals, driving revenue growth, and ensuring successful market access for our life-changing pharmaceutical products.
Responsibilities:
1. Hospital Authority Engagement:
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to engage and build relationships with Hospital Authority, including but not limited to hospital administrators, key opinion leaders, and other decision-makers.
- Understand the needs and priorities of Hospital Authority and align our product portfolio to meet their requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our products are successfully integrated into hospital formularies and treatment protocols.
2. New Channel and Market Access Strategy:
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new channels and market segments for potential business growth and market penetration.
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive market access strategies to ensure our products are accessible to patients through various channels, including specialty pharmacies, clinics, and outpatient facilities.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and opportunities for market expansion.
3. Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, onboard, and train a high-performing sales team focused on Hospital Authority engagement and new channel development.
- Set clear performance goals, provide ongoing coaching, and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure individual and team success.
- Foster a collaborative and motivating team environment, encouraging professional growth and cultivating a customer-centric mindset.
4. Sales Performance and Reporting:
- Drive sales revenue by setting ambitious targets and closely monitoring sales performance against targets.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable strategies.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on sales performance, market insights, and competitor activities for management review.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Bioscience/ Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of proven experience as a medical marketing in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Ideally experienced in Generic drugs/Cardio/Diabetes drugs.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
- Project management abilities with a focus on prioritization and adaptability.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical industry dynamics and regulatory requirements.
- Results-oriented mindset with a drive for sales growth.
- Proficiency in market research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent in English, Cantonese & Mandarin.
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for Product Manager position.
