As a Cloud Security Engineer within the Google Cloud Professional Services (PSO), you will provide guidance and expertise to customers adopting Google Cloud services. Your main responsibilities will focus on ensuring secure and compliant cloud implementations, automating infrastructure provisioning, and helping customers design and maintain secure cloud architectures. You'll also collaborate with product management and engineering teams to contribute to the continuous improvement of Google Cloud products and features.


Responsibilities

  • Offer deep domain expertise in cloud security, acting as a trusted technical advisor to customers, solving complex security and compliance challenges.
  • Work closely with customers to design and implement secure cloud security architectures tailored to their needs.
  • Develop and deliver best practices, technical presentations, blog articles, and tutorials for different levels of stakeholders.
  • Conduct technical reviews and on-site delivery activities, often using video conferencing for remote communication.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders within customer organizations to drive consensus and achieve positive outcomes on the Google Cloud platform.
  • Stay updated on the latest cloud security trends and technologies.
  • Frequent travel (up to 30%) in the APAC region for meetings and delivery activities.
