Our client is a renowned trade contractor focused on designing and providing high-quality custom facades for luxury retail clients. They are seeking an experienced and versatile Senior Accountant to join their team.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise weekly cash flow report preparation for management, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on payment planning, track outstanding receivables, and manage payables.
  • Create detailed payment summaries for management with insightful comments and recommendations.
  • Maintain comprehensive financial records, including QuickBooks data input and regular updates to accounting schedules.
  • Lead the month-end closing process, providing consolidated accounts and management reports.
  • Process monthly payroll for the Hong Kong office and manage annual salary tax return filings.
  • Work with departments to enhance finance and accounting efficiency and accuracy.
  • Serve as the main contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and the company secretary for audits and tax matters.
  • Identify and implement improvements to strengthen cost control and internal controls.



Experience


  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, ideally in the construction or project management sector.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks (accounting software) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Understanding of project accounting principles.
  • Adaptable, self-driven, and detail-oriented.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance or a related field.
