Sourcing Specialist (Development) - Home Decor

Our client is a European Sourcing office with HQ overseas. Due to business expansion, they are looking for a Sourcing Specialist (Development) - Home Decor for their sourcing & product development project team.

• Work with end-to-end projects from design concept, product development, sourcing and production till shipment delivery
• Worked on development pack / objectives / enquires from clients, collaborated with engineering and QA teams
• Propose new products and liaise with graphic team and design teams in HQ
• Identify client categories and preference on their needs, liaise closely with suppliers in Asia including South-east countries and China
• Ensure with quality standards and safety by working with product compliance team
• Collaborate with internal sourcing and merchandising teams to ensure maximum client’s satisfaction 

• Diploma or degree holder in industrial engineering /product engineering is desired but not a must
• Great knowledge within molding process during production is highly desired 
• At least 3-5 years’ relevant experience product development process within houseware items including glassware, ceramic, plastic etc from consumer goods background 
• Great communication in Chinese including Mandarin Chinese and English 
• Efficient, fast-paced and organized individual
• Travelling to suppliers’ production site in Asia including China is required occasionally
