[Athlete@Adecco] Camille's Journal - 4

July 25, 2017

After my rotation with Marketing and Employee Relations, I was away for a month long training trip and competition. When I came back, I started working with the Business Development (BD) team. I was very excited to start working with some of the colleagues I met through my ‘Adecco Swim Series’!

I’ve been working on helping the BD team find opportunities with sports events and competitions in Hong Kong. I’m really enjoying the process so far as it allows me to use my athletic background and interests to help me understand what the BD team does. As the office is shared with recruiters, I’m also learning about their day to day tasks and responsibilities.

On July 18th, we celebrated Global Sports and Inclusion Day. Despite the rainy weather, a group of us still got together for a hip hop dance session! It was a fun way for us to promote health, sport, and workplace inclusion. I had another couple ‘Adecco Swim Series’ sessions and am impressed by how receptive everyone is to feedback and improving very quickly!

Looking ahead, I’m continuing working on my BD project and hoping to join the BD team for a client meeting to see them in action.
