Our client, a reputable trading company in Hong Kong is looking for an experienced Assistant Merchandiser to join their team, with a focus on the Home/ Seasonal Decor sectors.


Responsibilities

Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate with international clients to confirm orders and address their daily inquiries
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of production orders, order status reports, delivery schedules, etc.
  • Manage sample development and ensure timely dispatch of samples
  • Follow up the entire merchandising process from product development to production
  • Prepare product-related documentation and reports
  • Communicate with or travel to China factories if required
  • Handle ad hoc assignments as required

Experience

Requirements:


  • Higher Diploma or above in any discipline
  • 1-2 years of experience in merchandising or trading
  • Experience with USA and European markets is a plus
  • Knowledge of home decor items, silk florals, or seasonal products is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills, organization, self-motivation, flexibility, and ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Good command of Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
  • willing to work overtime
  • Fresh graduates are welcome
