Data Analyst (HR Data Platform) - Short Term Contract

Our client is an electricity company in Hong Kong, they are looking for a Data Analyst with solid experience in data analysis with PowerBI or related tools to join their team.

Data Manipulation: 

• Extract, clean, and preprocess large datasets from SAP using Excel. 
• Utilize advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, IF, SUMIF) to perform data validation and transformations. 
• Develop and maintain VBA macros to automate repetitive data processing tasks. 
• Standardize and format data for consistency and accuracy. 

Data Analysis & Visualization: 

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and reporting needs. 
• Create dynamic reports and dashboards in Power BI to visualize key metrics and findings. 
• Utilize Power BI features to build interactive visualizations and enhance data storytelling. 

Documentation and Reporting: 

• Document data processing procedures and create user manuals for future reference. 
• Present findings and insights to management and stakeholders in a clear and concise mann

• Minimum 2 years of experience in data manipulation and analysis using Excel and Power BI. 
• Proficiency in Excel functions and formulas; experience with VBA. 
• Familiarity with data visualization best practices. 
• Knowledgeable about HR Compensation & benefit and Employment Ordinance concepts
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. 
• Knowledge of SQL for data querying. 
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills; proficiency in English and Cantonese.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.
