Recently, it has come to our attention that fraudsters purporting to be Adecco staff have been attempting to refer some job opportunities which are not from Adecco. Adecco wishes to remind our candidates and associates to be aware of online fraud and contact us immediately for verification of identity to prevent yourself from falling victim to “phishing” scams.

Our Advice

• In case someone asks you to pay administration fee, deposit or apply for loans in the job interview, you should pay extra attention. Do not disclose your personal information and hand over personal property to the fraudsters;
• If you just contact the company who claims to be Adecco staff and you seek employment through the Internet or social media, you must pay special attention to and if you have doubts about his/her identity, please remember not to disclose any sensitive personal information indiscriminately to protect your rights. You can also confirm their identity and the job opportunity to us by emailing hongkong@adecco.com.
• Before filling in any forms or applications, clearly understand the use of the forms and read carefully the job requirements or terms and conditions of the contract. Also, make sure if the documents are issued by Adecco. Do not provide information or sign any documents if in doubt.
